　　2013年8月28日，國務(wù)院總理李克強(qiáng)日前主持召開國務(wù)院常務(wù)會議，研究部署促進(jìn)健康服務(wù)業(yè)發(fā)展。會議指出，隨著生活水平提高，廣大群眾對健康服務(wù)的需求持續(xù)增長，要加快發(fā)展健康養(yǎng)老服務(wù)。專家認(rèn)為，我國已進(jìn)入人口老齡化快速發(fā)展階段，著力推動養(yǎng)老服務(wù)業(yè)發(fā)展不僅是積極應(yīng)對人口老齡化、保障和改善民生的重要舉措，也將成為擴(kuò)大內(nèi)需、增加就業(yè)、推動經(jīng)濟(jì)轉(zhuǎn)型升級的重要支點。
